Biased commentary is biased. When someone in a stolen car who is driving like they are intoxicated runs someone over, and continues to drive on a footpath covered in people things are a bit different. It’s not harmless, acting liek it is helps no one. Not saying what happened was right however they didn’t just drive a car a tiny bit on the footpath. Shooting and beating the fuck out of any 14 year old kid is not on, however please don’t paint this as someone went out for a drive while black and got shot. That isn’t what happened. They where drunk, in a stolen car, speeding and mounted the curb running someone down to try and get away from the police and where driving in a place they where very very likely to run over more people.
Biased news which is biased either way is still biased. I don’t like this being painted as cops trying to murder some black kids for doing nothing wrong or nothing dangerous that needed immediate intervention when that wasn’t the situation with shooting at the car.
As for what happened when they got out of the car- that is a completely different story and I’m glad it’s being portrayed as brutality because it seriously looks to be.
